Yahrzeit
It is our custom to read the names of the deceased at Friday evening services each week during the Hebrew month of the Yahrzeit. Thus, you may attend services and say Mourner’s Kaddish several times during that month. We also have a memorial board where you may place a plaque in remembrance of family members. Please join us on any Friday evening during the month that you have a Yahrzeit
The Eldersburg Jewish Congregation is once again selling Memorial Plaques. All plaques will be mounted on our memorial boards. The plaques are solid brass and are 2 by 10 inches. They contain three lines:
Hebrew Name of the deceased.
English Name of the deceased.
Date of death in both Hebrew and English.
Price is $75.00 for members and $125.00 for nonmembers. We will say Kaddish for your loved one each year. Since we meet on Friday Nights Kaddish is said for the full Hebrew month.
