Shalom! The Hebrew Learning Center will be holding Virtual Classes on May 17, 2020. Please follow the General ZOOM Directions before your child's scheduled class time. Also, please look over the materials that are needed for your child's class and print and gather what is needed before class.

Please follow the directions below to get ready for your virtual class. It is recommended that you log on at least 10 minutes before the start of class as you will need to download software. You can complete this at any time, even days before!
Computer Directions 1. Go to Zoom.us and select JOIN A MEETING from the top right corner of the screen. 2. Enter your classes ZOOM MEETING ID number (below). 3. Download and install the software when prompted and open after installation. 4. Enter the ZOOM MEETING ID again if necessary. 5. Enter your child's name and select JOIN. 6. You will get a message "Waiting for the host to start this meeting". 7. Wait for class to start!
Phone/Tablet Directions 1. Go to the app store and download Zoom Cloud Meetings. 2. Open App and select JOIN A MEETING. 3. Enter your classes ZOOM MEETING ID number (below). 4. Enter your child's name and select JOIN. 5. You will get a message "Waiting for the host to start this meeting". 6. Wait for class to start!
NOTE: If you set up ZOOM early, you will just need to select the link below to reenter the second time or enter the ZOOM MEETING ID and select JOIN from the software or APP.
Below is a screen shot of the toolbar in Zoom details of what each icon does, directions on how to see all your friends during the session and how to Pin The Host to your screen.
Mute/Unmute your own audio. You can also select your audio input here by clicking the up arrow next to the microphone icon.
Start/Stop your own video. You can also select you video input here by clicking the up arrow next to the video camera icon.
Invite more people to join by email or meeting ID.
Participants shows you a list of people who are logged in.
Share Screen share your desktop (everything you have open) or select a specific application to share (e.g., web browser, Google apps, whiteboard)
Chat allows you to send a message to the host or individual logged in.
Record allows you to record the session to your computer.
Reactions allows you to react to the host by clapping or giving a thumbs up.
Leave Meeting ends the Zoom session.
A. Select the blue box above the hosts name to Pin the Video to your screen or Chat with them directly. Pinning the video will keep their screen on your screen. B. Select the blue box above your name to change your profile picture, name, start your video or mute your audio. C. Select Gallery View to see all participants on the screen.
